NOW HIRING: On-Site Maintenance Person

The general maintenance and on-site handyman is a contract, paid position. The successful candidate requires knowledge of and ability to operate tools such as drill, saw, ladder, etc., and has general handyman knowledge. This a part-time commitment, hours and time required vary, however at a minimum certain duties must be completed on a weekly basis. Must provide own tools. Please see attached for further information on the position.


Overview of the duties required by the successful on-site maintenance person.

· Routine property inspections – site walks on a monthly basis and provide report to the Board upon inspection completion

· Preparation of weekly maintenance reports and submit to Board for review

· Oversight of all exterior common areas and exterior ground maintenance with duties including:

o Changing of garage, garbage garage, and lamp post light bulbs throughout the complex – advise the Board if additional work is required (ie. Electrician)

o Regularly inspect and tidy garbage garages – advise Board if garbage, recycling or compost has not been picked up for that week

o General site clean-up – advise Board if there are issues in regards to pets, tenants, landscaping, signage, electrical, etc.

o Repair, remove, install vinyl fences

o Repair, remove, install downspouts

o Repair garage trellis

o Install and remove signage, including digging and pouring cement holes

o Ad-hoc repairs and maintenance throughout the complex as required from time-to-time
