Recycling Bins

Many residents have inquired about recycling on-site. After review, the Board has approved to replace one garbage bin in each garbage garage with one recycling bin. The recycling bins will be placed in the garbage garages on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. The following are allowable items that are allowed in the bins. A notice will be placed in each garbage garage reminding residents of what is accepted in the recycle bins.

• Cardboard, including box board (cereal boxes, etc.) - must be flattened

• Plastic bags, shrink wrap, bubble wrap, or clear plastic - place together in a clear bag

• Newspapers, fliers, office paper, envelopes, etc. - place loosely in bin

• Pop cans, tin cans - place in clear bag

Please rinse ALL hard plastics except Polystyrene (must be in a clear plastic bag or shopping bag before placing in the bin. NO GLASS OR STYROFOAM.
