Post date: May 21, 2014 3:13:9 PM

The McKenzie Towne Plaza Project (the Plaza) is a proposal from McKenzie Towne Council (MTC) to build a permanent multi-use, all-ages, outdoor recreational facility for the McKenzie Towne community. MTC’s goal in pursuing the Plaza is to ensure that McKenzie Towne is being responsive to the current and forecasted demographic changes within the community and provide effective amenities and services to all community residents in a responsible and cost effective manner.

Members/residents in good standing will be asked to vote on funding decisions for the project at a Special Resolution Vote to be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 7 pm. If approved, the Plaza will be a year-round, all-ages facility located on MTC owned land just off the SW Corner of the McKenzie Towne Traffic Circle. The facility is slated for completion by summer/fall of 2015.

Proposed McKenzie Towne Plaza isa year-round recreation facility for all ages, including 5 main recreational components that will add to the current McKenzie Towne resident amenities.
